6m27s20 Menus Menus Menus


Hello!  This week I have implemented saving, loading, the options menu in the title screen and cleaned up some code.  Saving is still experimental a little.  I got rid of the debug area but it can still be accessed via modifying the save files but since the only area available doesn't have a save station it will be really hard to modify a save without anything to work on.  Along with the saving I re added in the options menu.  Unfortunately, I only had time this week to do the title screen.  It shouldn't be too hard to do the in game menu but I said that before and was wrong then.  The next thing that I want to make is the ability to modify the controls to what the players want to have.  Then I will get back to working on the first level/ tutorial area.  I am hoping that my 2 contacts area able to confirm whether they want to work on this project.  If they do then great but if they can't oh well.  After creating the ability to change controls I will start making some basic AI and enemy types.  Like flying, ground chasing, ground pathers and a couple others.  That or I will create more animations for the player along with a HUD that reacts to the environment.  Hopefully either one will turn out really good.  Thank you all for reading this and I hope to see you next week.
